18th Century Ponne Charentaise.
These are beautiful rare large pots from the Charente region. Originally used for storage of food, doing one's laundry and anything else requiring a large pot! We bought one a good few years ago, and have rarely seen another. This year I was able to source these two. They are primarily used these days for decoration.
