Jane MacMiadhachain (b 1950 - nee Hobday), studied at Portsmouth School of Art, West Surrey College of Art & Design, Norwich School of Art and Ecole Regionale des Beaux-Arts, Caen. Living in St. Ives, Cornwall between 1995 - 97, she became an Associate member of the Penwith Society of Arts, St. Ives where she met the painter Padraig MacMiadhachain. In 1997 they married and Jane moved to Swanage, Dorset. Jane has exhibited in numerous key galleries and currently exhibits with Belgrave St. Ives.
